After a series of successful demonstrations of our GEPS technology on golf courses in the United States, Europe and Japan, we are seeing an acceleration in demand from greenkeepers.
This growing success with specialists and professionals is a testament to the system’s prowess. Not only is GEPS more efficient than conventional drainage, but it is part of the natural water cycle, does not disturb the environment and requires no maintenance.
Aurélie Morandin, superintendent of the AA Golf Course in Saint Omer, France, notes, in addition to the infiltration performance, the improved firmness of the field equipped with GEPS. Machines can now pass on the fairway all year round. Moreover, since the GEPS system has been installed, costly decompaction, sanding and liming operations are no longer necessary. At Mazury Golf & Country Club in Naterki, Poland, our teams were called in this year to remediate other areas of the course following the successful GEPS installation in 2020. Sports Director Michal Aleksiejuk, who saw the change GEPS made, wants to continue working with Exlterra to remediate the entire course.
2022 will be a banner year for GEPS in the golf world. As each GEPS installation is an environmental improvement, players in the golf industry who work with Exlterra are proud to be a part of the effort for responsible development.
